Mychal Thompson of the Lakers has agreed to pay $100 to the city of Lake Oswego, Ore., for several hundred golf balls he allegedly stole from the municipal golf course.

A municipal court judge signed a civil compromise agreement between Thompson, 34, of West Linn, Ore., the golf course and the city parks department. In the compromise, Thompson agreed to the payment and said he would write a letter of apology to the city.
