Irvine : Police Dept. Will Check Homes for Vacationers
- Share via
Under a program reinstated recently by the City Council, Irvine residents who leave for vacations of at least seven days can have their houses checked periodically during their absence by the Police Department.
Public safety aides driving marked city vehicles will make regular checks of the vacant homes. The service is free.
Residents wanting to use the “vacation house check program” should call the Irvine Police Department at (714) 724-7042.
