Music Guild to Open With Prague Quartet

The Prague String Quartet will open the 45th season of Music Guild on Oct. 25 with a program of works by Haydn, Beethoven and Dvorak.
The season continues with appearances by Quartetto di Roma (Nov. 8), the Angeles String Quartet with mezzo-sorprano Claudine Carlson (Dec. 13), the Pasquier String Trio with pianist Menahem Pressler (Feb. 7), the Cavani String Quartet (Mar. 7) and the Vermeer String Quartet with pianist Mona Golabek (April 18).
All performances are at 8:30 p.m. at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, 4401 W. Eighth St.
