WORLD : Vietnam Hits Polish Anti-Socialism

BANGKOK, Thailand — Vietnam, in an unprecedented direct attack on a Soviet Bloc ally, today blasted the democratic reforms in Poland that have ended 40 years of Communist domination.
The daily Nhan Dan, the newspaper of the ruling Vietnamese Communist Party, strongly condemned what it called “anti-socialist forces, backed and abetted by the United States and the West” for throwing Poland into a “deep crisis.”
The paper urged the Polish Communist Party “to resolutely fight against the anti-socialist forces and take the country out of the present crisis.”
