One of two men arrested Friday after an armed robbery at the Home Federal Savings & Loan office at 6902 Navajo Road might be linked to a series of recent bank robberies, San Diego police said .
Police arrested Bradley T. Hendon, 29, and Wayne K. Dyer, 30, after two men took $1,486 from the S&L.;
“We think that Hendon has been involved in a series of robberies,” a police spokesman said.
Hendon and Dyer were arrested shortly before 5 p.m. after a brief chase. A search of their vehicle turned up an air gun resembling a .45-caliber pistol, as well as the missing cash.
The two men were being held at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center.
