Wurtzel & Fox Investment Co.’s The Palm Country Club, 249 luxury apartment units, will have its grand opening today at 11615 Firestone Blvd. in Norwalk.

A variety of floor plans are available in the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, each with 9- to 14-foot ceilings, fireplaces, walk-in closets and mirrored wardrobes. Units have from one to 2 1/2 baths. Some plans have dual master suites, lofts and roof-top decks. Each unit opens to a private patio or balcony.

Move-ins are scheduled Nov. 1. Monthly rents are $650 to $1,225.

The Palm Country Club provides lush landscaping and outdoor recreation facilities, including swimming pool, spa, racquetball courts, a fitness center, private putting green and childrens’ “tot lot.”

Models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The project can be reached from the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, Firestone Boulevard exit.

Victorville Homes

Century Homes Communities will have its grand opening today of Daybreak II at Foxfire Ranch at 12717 Pacoima Road.

The 24 detached single-family homes have two to five bedrooms, two baths and two- and three-car garages.

They range in size from 1,010 to 2,343 square feet and are priced at $97,990 to $159,990. Move-ins are scheduled for March.

The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

The project can be reached from the Bear Valley Road exit of Interstate 15.
