L.A. Extends Limits on Warner Center Growth
- Share via
An ordinance limiting development in the Warner Center area, in effect for the past 1 1/2 years, was extended Tuesday for another 180 days by the Los Angeles City Council.
The interim control ordinance prohibits issuance of building permits for lots in the area bounded by Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Vanowen Street, Warner Ridge and the Ventura Freeway.
The ordinance was intended to give city staff time to develop a transportation plan to relieve traffic congestion. It was to expire Oct. 25.
