Your article “Senate Rejects (Sen. Pete) Wilson Bid to Ban Newsletters” (Part A, Nov. 10) and spend the $58 million saved on babies damaged by their mother’s cocaine addiction speaks well of Wilson (R-Calif.).
Newsletters are nothing but political “drumbeatings” of congressional members who want to remain in office for life.
Unless we put an end to these meaningless newsletters and place a cap on congressional terms, politics and selfishness will always be strange bedfellows.
