Papua New Guinea Quakes

SYDNEY, Australia — Two strong earthquakes shook the northern coast of Papua New Guinea on Sunday but there were no initial reports of damage or casualties, officials said. A government seismologist said the first tremor measured a magnitude 5.5. The second, five minutes later, was a magnitude 6.1.
