Wells Fargo to Post Bond: Wells Fargo Bank said it will post bond Monday while appealing a $700,000 judgment awarded Ted G. Hays, a 78-year-old invalid, after U.S. District Judge Edward Rafeedie kept a lien intact on the bank’s real estate holdings in six large California counties, including Wells Fargo’s San Francisco headquarters building. The lien was imposed because the bank refused to post bond while appealing. The $700,000 was awarded last fall by a Los Angeles Superior Court jury to Hays.
