Oceanside Beats Point Loma, 26-23

Senior forward Mildred Conston scored seven points to go along with nine blocked shots, eight rebounds and four steals as visiting Oceanside upset the top-ranked Point Loma girls, 26-23, Saturday.
Oceanside (10-4) was tied with Point Loma (12-3) at 6-6 after the first quarter but never trailed after that. Angela Sims added six points and eight rebounds for Oceanside.

Madison Tournament
Supe Hooper scored 35 points and Jerome Price added 25 as University City (12-1) defeated Clairemont, 93-63, in the championship game.
