NEW YORK — Now that his “Chicken Soup” series has been canceled, Jackie Mason has lots of time to travel and check out the changes in Eastern Europe. He plans to be at the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin Monday as part of a trip with Sen. Rudy Boschwitz (R-Minn.), and a spokesman for Mason says the comedian will also visit U.S. Ambassador Vernon A. Walters at his home in Bonn on Wednesday. From there, Mason will go to Hungary to meet with government officials, Jewish leaders and local comedians.
