ORANGE : Schools Get Interim Superintendent
- Share via
Stanley Corey was appointed interim superintendent for the Orange Unified School District earlier this month.
Corey, who retired from the Irvine Unified School District in 1987, recently served as interim superintendent of Saugus Union High School District in Saugus.
He is taking the place of former Supt. John Ikerd, who resigned in November after the election of five new members to the school board. Ikerd said that the new board should have an opportunity to select a new superintendent.
District officials expect to appoint a permanent superintendent June 30.
