King County prosecutors will decide this week whether to charge Seattle SuperSonic guard Dale Ellis with reckless driving and driving while intoxicated.
Ellis’ attorney, Steve Hayne, said Ellis will plead not guilty if charged in a one-car accident that left Ellis hospitalized with three broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Ellis, who is 15th in NBA scoring with a 23-point average, was listed in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
