Drug Users

The naivete of at least one of your readers (letter, Ena Tinkham, Jan. 1) about drug usage astounds me. My friends and I smoke marijuana occasionally to relax, and still continue to successfully earn six-figure incomes. We all did our fair share of cocaine in the ‘70s; the strong ones dabbled, the weak abused.
Drug availability--legal or otherwise--does not determine drug usage. Individual strength of character does.
