Coaches Dale Brown of Louisiana State and Rick Pitino of Kentucky were reprimanded by the Southeastern Conference for their confrontation in Saturday’s game, won by LSU, 94-81.

With 4:48 left in the first half, Kentucky’s Jeff Brassow and LSU’s Chris Jackson were each assessed a foul by officials after a pushing match. Teammates separated the two players, but not before Pitino and Brown stormed to the scorers’ table to register their gripes with officials and exchange words.
