About 100 guests were invited to a party Friday for the world premiere of South Coast Repertory’s “Search and Destroy” by Howard Korder. AT&T; hosted the event at the Center Club, where champagne and hors d’oeuvres were served before the curtain rose at nearby SCR. Through their national theater program--AT&T;: OnStage--the AT&T; Foundation donated $50,000 to produce the play. Also among guests were: SCR Producer David Emmes; Kae and Louise Ewing; Jim and Bobbin Vandeberg and Romy and Bill McFarland.
