Amdahl Corp.: Net income for the year was $153 million, off 30% from 1988, on revenue of $2.1 billion, up 17% from the previous year. The firm said income was affected by competitive pressure on prices, less favorable foreign exchange rates and higher costs. Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Amdahl supplies large-scale mainframe computers, data storage subsystems and data communications products.
