ST. PAUL, Minn. — Northwest Airlines said passengers flying between now and April 6 can earn free round-trip tickets for travel later in the year.
Passengers who complete three round trips during that period earn one free round-trip ticket to wherever Northwest flies in the continental United States, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, the airline said.
Five paid round trips qualify the passenger for two free North American trips or one free round trip to anywhere Northwest flies in Europe. Seven paid round trips earn three free North American trips or two free round trips to Europe.
Northwest said the promotion goes further than similar programs being offered by American Airlines and United Airlines by providing free European travel.
