Crime Bulletin Issued After Foiled Attack at UCI

IRVINE — Police issued a “crime-warning bulletin” Thursday after a sexual attack Jan. 12 on a woman on the UC Irvine campus.
The woman was attacked at the Irvine Theatre construction site near the Administration Building on Campus Drive about 5:30 p.m. as she was walking to her car, university spokeswoman Colleen Bentley-Adler said.
A man described only as having “a large build” grabbed the woman and carried her several feet, when a witness yelled, “Hey!”
