PACIFIC 10 ROUNDUP : Hendrick Saves Cal in Second Overtime

Freshman Brian Hendrick sank a 17-foot jumper as time expired in the second overtime Thursday night to give California a 68-66 victory over Arizona State at Tempe, Ariz.
Hendrick finished with 26 points, including six in the overtimes.
Arizona State’s Isaac Austin scored on a layup with 24 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the score, 48-48, and force the first overtime. Ryan Drew, who scored 18 points for the Bears, forced the second overtime with a three-point basket with five seconds remaining to tie the score, 58-58.
The Golden Bears improved to 14-5 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-10. The Sun Devils fell to 9-8 and 2-6.
Arizona 68, Stanford 61--Sean Rooks scored 19 points and Matt Muehlebach added 17 to help the Wildcats stave off a Cardinal rally en route to a Pac-10 victory at Tucson.
The Wildcats (12-3 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-10), led, 40-25, at halftime before the Cardinal, led by Adam Keefe, opened the second half with a 15-2 run.
But with Arizona leading, 57-54, with 6:45 left, Muehlebach had a three-point play in a 5-0 run, and the Cardinal never got closer than three points again.
Keefe, who scored on nine of his first 10 field-goal attempts, scored 24 points for the Cardinal (12-4, 4-3).
