LONDON — Nigel Benn of Britain will fight American Doug DeWitt for the World Boxing Organization middleweight championship, it was announced today.
The fight, scheduled for April 26 in Las Vegas, will be on the under-card for bouts featuring two former world champions, heavyweight George Foreman and Thomas Hearns, who won titles in five weight classes.
Foreman will go against Cuban Jose Ribalta, and Hearns is to defend his WBO super-middleweight crown against Canadian Michael Olajide.
