COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Limited Inc. will move offices of its 720-store Lane Bryant division from New York to a $110-million complex being built in a Columbus suburb, Gov. Richard F. Celeste and company officials said today.
Lane Bryant, a women’s special size apparel retailer, is expected to move into its new headquarters in May or June of 1991.
Kenneth B. Gilman, Limited’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, said a significant, but undetermined, number of the 240 employees at Lane Bryant’s Manhattan headquarters were expected to move to Ohio.
Three other New York-based divisions--Henri Bendel, Brylane and Lerner--that together employ 800 to 1,000 people, will remain in New York.
