Two San Fernando Valley men celebrated the birthday of one by climbing to the top of a 200-foot construction crane in Burbank this morning, and the daring stunt ended with their arrests, authorities said.
Bryan Petri, 25, and Fernando Holguin, whose 25th birthday was Tuesday, were arrested on suspicion of trespassing, a misdemeanor, after a police officer and a firefighter climbed part way up the crane at a construction site at First Street and Angeleno Avenue about 1 a.m. and ordered them down.
Petri, of Canoga Park, and Holquin, of Van Nuys, were released on $250 bail.
