Hats off to Bishop Brom, who celebrated Mass for the migrant workers! He cares for their souls. Now if ways could be found to provide housing, thereby providing for their physical needs as well, the blessing would be complete.
What I fail to understand is, if growers need the labor of the workers, why in the world won’t they provide housing so they can live like humans and not like animals in the woods?
