Sources at Oppenheimer & Co. say the 1.5-million-unit initial public offering of Mel Brooks’ Brooksfilms Inc. has been postponed indefinitely . . . Denver-based SCI Television Inc., the TV station company controlled by investor George Gillett, said it has completed a debt exchange offer and avoided being forced into bankruptcy court proceedings.
