Blue Cross of California reorganized its various divisions into three main groups and announced the executives who will head the new units.
The Woodland Hills-based health insurer said D. Mark Weinberg was named executive vice president of its individual, small group and government services division, and Ronald Williams was named executive vice president of its health services and products group.
Blue Cross also said Marvin Rich joined the company as an executive vice president of its financial and information services group. Rich formerly was executive vice president of California Federal Bank.
In addition, Blue Cross named Ann F. Monroe to the new post of senior vice president of human resources and administration, which is part of the financial and information services group.
