John Franco agreed to a three-year, $7.6 million contract with the New York Mets that will make him the second-highest paid relief pitcher in baseball, behind only Mark Davis of Kansas City.
Franco was 4-8 with the Cincinnati Reds last season with 32 saves and a 3.12 earned-run average.
