NATION IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Concorde Jet, Low on Fuel, Lands Safely

A supersonic Air France Concorde jet was given priority landing status at Kennedy International Airport when its pilots told air traffic controllers that the plane was low on fuel after its transatlantic flight. Flight 1, carrying 74 passengers, had a problem with the autopilot, officials said. The jet had 30 minutes worth of fuel left when it landed.
