Costner Sues Video Firm: Actor Kevin Costner and Universal Pictures Inc. filed suit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Monday charging a video firm with trying to profit from “Field of Dreams,” a hit movie in which Costner starred. The suit said Prism Entertainment Corp. is distributing videocassettes of a 1985 film, “Chasing Dreams” in which Costner played a minor role, by linking it with “Field of Dreams.” Costner and Universal seek to alter the marketing plan and collect profits from the sale of Prism’s videocassette.
