Gas Prices Down Slightly: Gas prices dropped slightly over the past three weeks, returning to a more seasonable level after a month of weather-related jumps, industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said. The average price of a gallon of gasoline was 0.6 cent lower on Feb. 9 than it was Jan. 19, Lundberg said. She said the new average price of $1.1246 reflected a cut in wholesale prices, which retailers passed on to consumers.
