The driver of a pickup truck was killed and the driver of a car was injured in a Porter Ranch collision Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Craig R. Tomlinson, 25, of Canyon Country was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at Castlebay Lane and Killoch Way, Officer Dana DeJongh said. Maria Wubben, 53, of Northridge was treated for cuts and bruises at Granada Hills Community Hospital and released, he said.
Police said Wubben was making a left turn from Killoch to Castlebay when she struck the pickup, which was eastbound on Castlebay. DeJongh said Tomlinson may not have seen the car because the sun was in his eyes.
