World IN BRIEF : BULGARIA : Communists Agree to Delay Elections

In two key concessions to the democratic opposition, Bulgaria’s Communist Party has agreed to postpone elections by one month and to remove its representatives from the workplace, sources said in Sofia. The Communists’ Supreme Council also decided to let Communists vote on whether to change the party’s name to the Bulgarian Socialists Party.
