Hurdler Derek Knight and weight man Brian Blutreich each won two events to lead UCLA to victories over Texas and Fresno State in a triangular track and field meet, and Texas’ Patrik Boden set a collegiate record in the javelin with a throw of 271 feet, 9 inches.
UCLA beat Texas,83-71,and Fresno State, 97-66. Texas defeated Fresno State, 101-62.
