California IN BRIEF : OAKLAND : Video Games Stolen

A $2.5-million shipment of a hot Nintendo video game called “Ducktails” was carted away from the Port of Oakland, but police are unsure whether the thieves knew what they were taking. The 50,000 video tapes were packed in a 40-foot container that had been placed in a busy loading-dock area. “The thieves apparently had their own truck, just came by and loaded the container and took off,” Police Lt. Larry Eade said.
