“Opening Doors to a Better Life,” is the theme of Abilities Expo, the nation’s largest display of products and services for people whose activities are physically limited.
Scheduled for Friday, Saturday and next Sunday at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the exhibit will feature a special kitchen display of motorized cabinets, cooktops and counters that adjust height at the touch of a button.
Ways to make the home environment safer will be demonstrated as will voice-activated equipment that turns lights and appliances on and off from a distance.
Hours at Abilities Expo are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3. For further information call (619) 944-1122.
