New Format on Editorial Pages
What again! Enough, already, with your “easy formats.” It wasn’t enough what you did to the rest of the paper; now you take on the editorial page and turn it into a hodgepodge resembling assorted news items rather than editorial comment.
The Times seems to think change is good for its own sake. Not necessarily so. Your tried-and-true concise column of easily-read editorials and accompanying letters to its right provided an orderly, uncluttered look. All these lines, division, nooks and crannies make the page distracting.
