Sports Briefs : 4 Basketball Camps Set

Cal State Long Beach basketball Coach Seth Greenberg has scheduled four camps this summer on the university campus.

* Offensive post camp for high school students June 22 to 24. The cost is $75.

* Individual day camp for youngsters ages 7 to 13 July 30 to Aug. 3. The cost is $100.

* Individual evening camp for high school students July 30 to Aug. 3. The fee is $60.

* Individual offensive team camps June 29 to July 1 and Aug. 3 to 5. The cost is $400.

605 All-Star Game Set

The annual 605 High School All-Star Football Game, matching players from opposite sides of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, will be at 7:30 p.m. June 30 at Cerritos College.

The East will be coached by Steve Silberman of Gahr High and Mike Fitch of Whittier High. Players include Randy Donisthorpe of Gahr, Travis Carter of Glenn, Joe Fernandez of La Mirada, Keith Baker of Millikan, Buster Layton of Wilson, Chris Emch of Whittier, Mark Kortenhoeven of Valley Christian and Scott Alvarez of California.

The West, coached by Doug Bluth of Bellflower and Mike Ono of Jordan, has a roster that includes Andre Green and Don Sasa of Poly, Isaac Walker of Dominguez, Rudy Ramirez of Bell Gardens, Charles Levy of Lynwood, Dan Godfrey of Paramount, Ray Maldonado of Montebello and Mike Munoz of St. John Bosco.
