West Hollywood : Parking Plan Scrapped

Plans to develop a municipal parking structure on the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Kings Road have been canceled after city officials determined that the cost of acquiring the property was too high.
Late last year, the City Council approved a proposal to build the parking structure, but city officials were forced to scrap the plan earlier this month after the city was unable to negotiate an agreement on a purchase price with the property owners.
