Agoura 7, Western Christian 0--Agoura infielder Wendy Baertschiger, who had not batted in a month, drove in three runs and Melissa Thatcher pitched a two-hitter to give Agoura its 10th consecutive win.
Agoura (24-5) will defend its title against Paraclete in Saturday’s title game.
Baertschiger missed eight games after suffering a broken finger on her right hand April 28 against Hart. She played second base but did not bat in Agoura’s first two playoff victories.
Baertschiger drove in Rachel Clarke, who had a leadoff triple, for the Chargers’ first run in the fourth inning. She also had a two-run single in the fifth.
Paraclete 6, Big Bear 2--The Spirits advanced to the title game with a road win at Big Bear.
The title matchup with Agoura offers Paraclete a chance for revenge: Last season, the Spirits were eliminated by Agoura, 10-4, in the semifinals.
