Rudolph (Rudy) Villasenor, 82, a reporter whose first years in the newspaper business in Los Angeles were spent at the old red courthouse at Broadway and Temple Street. He and his mother had fled Mexico in 1917 after the revolution to come to Los Angeles, where he began work in the 1920s for the Associated Press and City News Service before joining the Los Angeles Times in 1935. He was a charter member of the Greater Los Angeles Press Club and retired in 1972. In Los Angeles on Monday.
