Toon Award: Warner Bros. cartoon director Chuck Jones will be among the recipients of the American Academy of Achievement’s Golden Plate award in Chicago Saturday. The Academy cited the three-time Oscar-winner and creator of Pepe LePew, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner as “a modern master of animated films, a comic genius (who has) brought laughter to millions throughout the world.”
