LAND-USE PLAN: The Cerritos City Council on Wednesday will take up the question of what to put on the approximately 75 acres of remaining land in its Towne Center redevelopment area. A consultant’s report advised that a new shopping mall would have little chance of success. Meanwhile, a group of residents will be at the meeting to press the council to give it some of the land for a YMCA.
