Big Stripers Show Up Near Bullhead City

Fishermen working the Colorado River near Bullhead City, Ariz., have grown accustomed to catching small striped bass, but occasionally the big stripers decide to make an appearance.
Such was the case over the weekend, when Maywood’s Eric Petersen caught a 42-pound striper. Brian Smith of Washington landed a 28-pounder.
