HUNTINGTON BEACH : Festival Today Will Benefit Pier Project
- Share via
An outdoor festival will be held in Huntington Harbour today to help raise money to rebuild the city pier.
The “Pier Fiesta,” featuring mariachi bands, dancers, rides and games, is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the south parking lot of the Peter’s Landing shopping center. Admission is $5, with proceeds benefiting the city’s pier project fund. Children under 12 will be admitted free.
Street vendors who will be selling a variety of food and goods at the event will also donate a portion of their revenues to the pier project fund.
Limited free parking is available at the newly opened Pierside Pavilion, and a free shuttle will run each half-hour between the pier and the festival, event spokeswoman Denise de Vines said.
