Why No Arrests Made in Racial Attack on Girl?
Please don’t treat the vicious, unprovoked racist attack on Amber Jefferson as some sort of isolated incident. It is all too typical of the provincial, pathetic mind-set of Orange County.
The locals here may fancy themselves sophisticated and cosmopolitan, but when they feel so threatened by a population that accounts for barely 1% of their county’s total they reveal themselves for what they really are: the ignorant, bigoted denizens of one of the most racist cesspools in America.
For the record I am a white, male, native Californian. A corporate transfer brought me to Orange County, and in all honesty I can’t wait until a corporate transfer takes me out of here. I am sick of racist co-workers, police sweeps against the homeless, a Sheriff’s Department that refuses to so much as arrest the racist thugs who attacked a 15-year-old girl, and the whole ugly ambience of this Mississippi with palm trees.
My sympathies go out to this brave girl and her family.
