Clint Ambuter, who recently split with the cowboy-hatted Orange County rock band the Clints, says he is resurfacing with a new band called Jack & Marilyn. Ambuter was one of three singer-songwriters in the Clints before the group decided three riders was too many for one saddle. Ambuter said he remains friendly with his former band mates. Jack & Marilyn, which also includes lead guitarist Nick Borsella, bassist Dan Elliott and drummer Brian Resh, will play its first shows Oct. 12 at the Gaslight in Hollywood, and Oct. 19 at Night Moves in Huntington Beach.
