Cathedral 20, L. A. Baptist 8--Leading, 14-0, in the fourth quarter, host Cathedral put the game away on Gunter Donoso’s 30-yard scoring run.

Donoso’s run capped a three-play, 90-yard drive that started when an L. A. Baptist scoring threat stalled at the Cathedral 10-yard line.

Cathedral took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on Danny Sanchez’s 10-yard pass on fourth down to Francisco Lopez. Cathedral took a 14-0 lead in the second quarter when Eddie Lazaro returned a blocked punt 15 yards for a touchdown.
