BUENA PARK : City Gets Stanton’s Director of Finance

Greg Beaubien, formerly with the city of Stanton, has been named director of finance, officials announced.
Beaubien will oversee the accounting, purchasing and treasury divisions for the city. His 17-member department is also in charge of developing the annual budget and directing the collection and investment of city funds.
Beaubien had served as assistant city manager/finance director in Stanton since 1986. Before that he was director of finance for the city of Rancho Palos Verdes. He has a bachelor’s degree from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
He will replace Brian Mayhew, who resigned in July after serving less than three months on the job.
