Florida State’s entry into the Atlantic Coast Conference was sealed with a handshake, and ACC Commissioner Gene Corrigan said the Seminoles would begin competing in all sports but football in the 1991-92 school year.
Although some details remain to be worked out, Florida State will become a full member of the ACC July 1.
